Wells, one of the largest prefabricated building solutions providers in the United States, has expanded its Sealants and Restoration team with more than 45 team members committed to providing the complete array of sealant and restoration services for the entire Wells geographic footprint.
Wells’ Sealants and Restoration provides services including caulking and expansion joints, concrete and masonry restoration, coatings for pedestrian and vehicular traffic, structural reinforcement, firestopping, and waterproofing. These services increase the long-term value and longevity of both new and existing structures, minimize disruptions through planned maintenance, and improve energy efficiency for years to come.
“This expansion is a response to the varying needs of our many building partners, and the shrinking labor force that often makes it difficult to source these types of services,” said Greg Roth, chief operating officer/president of Wells Midwest. “Throughout the lifecycle of any project, we work with contractors, building owners, management companies and consulting engineers — who already rely on our resources and expertise. Providing this holistic service offering makes the process easier for our partners and enables us to continually deliver the exceptional service that defines Wells as a partner.”
Wells’ preventative maintenance services underscore the company’s commitment to enhancing project value and minimizing long-term operating costs. The expansion allows Wells to better identify and create effective maintenance and restoration strategies to protect and prolong the life of construction projects, or even repurpose existing facilities. As codes and requirements continually progress and become more challenging for building envelope systems, Wells’ Sealants and Restoration offerings will support the company’s building partners through a wide range of innovative services designed to extend the building lifecycle.
Mike Troje is leading the new Sealants and Restoration team. Troje leverages more than 15 years of experience in the construction industry and has built his career around identifying performance efficiencies for his building partners during his tenure with Wells. He will work closely with leaders across Wells various regions. John King is now director of sales and estimating for sealants and restoration, along with recent strategic hires Jim Mortl (formerly of Mortl Restoration) and Dave Pupp (formerly of Pukall Co.); the expansion includes the infusion of many experienced and talented team members from their past companies.
