Luxury and convenience meet in the middle of downtown Des Moines, IA at the renovated City Square Loft Apartments. With over 230,000 sq ft, this mix use commercial real estate development is one of the East Village’s largest real estate developments.
The unique seven-story complex houses 124 apartments and 111 extended stay hotel suites, with an impressive 317 parking stall sandwiched between the two. Along with floor to ceiling windows, residents are offered amenities from a garden and a patio space on the parking ramp rooftop, to a putting green, dog park and a movie screen.
This expansive development features hundreds of Wells’ insulated wall panels, beams, columns and parking double tees. To support the various apartment floor sizes, hollowcore planks were utilized. Wells also erected thousands of square feet of thin brick, to match the pre-built building’s aesthetic.
The attractive structure draws in future residents from around the region, increasing the downtown East Village population.
