A seamless expansion.
On the west side of a 100-year-old historic landmark courthouse in Crosby, ND is a seamless new addition that adds over 25,000 sq ft of space. The three-story brick add on is home to a law enforcement center, social services, health services, a training room and staff break room.
Steel beams were added to support the flooring and support an entrance on the building’s west side. Wells’ insulated and non-insulated architectural wall panels featuring sandblast, acid etch, thin brick and form face finishes replicate the historic building finishes while providing modern durability. Utilizing custom finish architectural wall panels allowed the Divide County Courthouse to expand municipal offerings for residents while preserving the original historic design.
