A space for innovative learning.

The Moraine Park Technical College Automation, Innovation & Robotic (AIR) Center is a new, dynamic hub on the college’s campus. It allows for collaboration across multiple programs that address current industry demands in the region. This state-of-the-art space enhances education opportunities in automation and robotics, enabling hands-on learning in innovative ways. The AIR Center was designed to seamlessly integrate into the existing campus, matching the architectural style of the connecting buildings with a more modern feel.

Wells provided prefabricated architectural walls, chosen over alternative building solutions like masonry for construction schedule efficiency. The 18,000 sq ft addition was enclosed in less than two weeks. Additionally, the interior walls were immediately ready for paint, streamlining the construction process further and reducing finishing costs for the school. By collaborating closely with the building partners, Wells successfully found a finish that aligned with the client’s vision, all while ensuring a durable, low-maintenance facade.
