Exceeding expectations.
Designing and building a high-end beautiful Resort and Spa that features over 200 units, offices, parking and a full-service restaurant is already a challenge, add in a harsh winter and a quick occupation rate, total precast became the preferred construction solution.
Connecting the town of Avon, CO to the ski mountain, the design of the 575,000 sq ft facility had a unique challenge of creating a system to decrease floor depth for precast double tees. Using our Wells patented system, a 10-inch-thick rib slab plus 4 inches of topping created the necessary depth of 14 inches.
This was the first Colorado hotel to achieve LEED Silver certification. This total precast project exceeded construction deadlines, erecting 12 – 15 pieces each day and finishing construction two months early.
